August Lunar Eclipse & Indian Astrology
Lunar Eclipse often occurs two weeks after or before a solar eclipse due to proximity of Rahu (South node) and Ketu (North Node) to Sun and Moon. The spectacular total solar eclipse of August 1, 2008 is to be followed by a partial Lunar Eclipse on August 16th 2008. The Lunar eclipse will be visible from Europe, Africa, South America and Australia.
The sidereal sun will be in the first degree of Leo and moon in the first degree of Aquarius during the eclipse. Those with sidereal lagna, sun and moon in the last degrees of Cancer/Capricorn or beginning degrees of Leo/Aquarius should consult Vedic astrology for analyzing the effect of eclipse on their destiny.
