Rahu-Ketu will be in Capricorn-Cancer axis on 1st January 2009 (They entered this axis on 30th April 2008) and will be there till 13th November 2009. A conjunction of Rahu-Jupiter will take place on 12th Feb. 2009 followed by Rahu-Mars conjunction on 15th Feb. 2009 (about 14 degree Capricorn) . Mars will be exalted whereas Jupiter is debilitated. Mars-Jupiter Conjunction will be on February 16th about 15 degrees of Capricorn. In addition, the solar eclipse will of 26th January 2009 will be at mid 12-13 degrees of Capricorn. Capricorn ascendant will experience far reaching impact during this period. Note Capricorn lord is Saturn who will be in Leo in eighth house from it, which is not very positive.
