Basant Panchami 2010 Saraswati Puja

Basant Panchami, Vedic festival of Saraswati Puja (worship) falls on 20th January 2010. It is Shukla Paksha Panchami (Vasanth Panchmi in waxing moon period) in the luni-solar month of Magha (Magh) in Vasant Ritu (Basant or Spring Season). It is also known as Saraswati Panchami, Sree Panchami or Saraswati Puja. Vedic Knowledge and wisdom is symbolized by Goddess Saraswati.
