By Savana year (360 days) for Vimsottari dasha, India is under Sun Mahadasha since October 2008. Sun is the fourth house lord from lagna and second house lord from Moon. By transit Jupiter will move to Aquarius in May and Saturn in Virgo (end of Sade Sati) in September. Transit Rahu-Ketu will move in November 2009 to Sagittarius-Gemini axis from Capricorn-Cancer axis when Ketu conjunction with natal saturn coincided with fatal Mumbai incident November 2008 last year. All of these transits indicate positive for India.
A key coincidence to note is transit Jupiter (the 9th lord from Moon Rashi) on the first day of elections (April 16th 2009) is in opposition (27 degrees capricorn0 to natal position (27 degrees of Cancer) of Mahadasha lord Sun, an event of great significance. Transit Ketu conjunction with natal Moon in July-September, 2009 may cause instabilities in the national scene but with transit Saturn’ entry in Virgo in September events will move towards the better.
